SuHack 2026: NeuroBridge AI Hackathon is a one-day, deep tech hackathon hosted at Sabancı University, bringing together students to build real AI systems on real-world data.

This is not a pitch competition.

Participants will work in teams to design and build functional AI prototypes within 12 hours, focusing on challenging problems at the intersection of artificial intelligence and neuroscience.

🔬 Hackathon Tracks
  • Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) Prediction
Build machine learning models to predict molecular permeability across the BBB.
  • MRI-Based Analysis
Apply supervised learning and computer vision techniques to analyze brain imaging data.
  • Agent-Based AI Systems
Design intelligent agents for healthcare decision support, diagnostics, or automation.
⚙️ What Makes It Different
  • Real datasets (not toy problems)
  • Focus on working prototypes, not slides
  • Technical mentorship from industry & academia
  • Evaluation based on functionality, impact, and engineering quality
🕒 Event Schedule (May 2, 2026)
  • 09:00 — Check-in & Opening
  • 10:00 — Build Phase Begins
  • 13:00 — Break
  • 14:00 — Build Phase Continues
  • 17:00 — Mentoring & Feedback
  • 17:30 — Final Build Sprint
  • 21:00 — Final Presentations & Judging

Requirements

Each team must submit the following via Devpost:

✅ Required
  • Project Description
Clear explanation of the problem, approach, and solution
  • Working Prototype
Code, model, or system demonstrating your solution
    (GitHub repository required)
  • Demo Video (2–3 minutes)
Showing how your system works and what it achieves
  • Technical Explanation
Model architecture, data usage, and methodology
⭐ Optional (but recommended)
  • Live demo or deployed version
  • Performance metrics / evaluation results
  • Future improvements or scalability plan
⚠️ Important

Projects will be judged primarily on:
